most transporters 'bid out' and it can be anyone they use, basically its all by " $ / mile" and whomever is close by on their route to pick up or deliver....I shipped a Triumph TR6 from WV last April to Houston , it was $750, its a small car...not much to be nervous about, make sure title or ownership papers are NOT with the car , but mailed separately w signature required delivery
