You need to check on actual ship dates. when I was dealing with a shipping company a few years ago, they were going to pick my car up in March, ship it to an unknown warehouse where it was going to sit for up to two months until there was a truck heading to Minneapolis.
I switched companies after hearing that. I ended up with an enclosed truck going from Georgia to Mpls with a load of new Vipers. They had one spot open for my 'bird. It cost around $1250 back then. But it was door to door. They would not have messed with xtra parts and engines though...
