Hello, I'm looking for some opinions to help me make a decision. I currently have a B&M 20413 Holeshot Torque Converters. It's stall is 3,000 RPM. I have a 400 motor with Crane Cams Energizer Cam & 6x heads. Per the website info on the cam it has 2600- 3000 cruise RPM. I think I need a lower stall speed torque converter.
I get figuring out the best fit is more complicated then this. I've not riped apart the rear so I'm not sure of the rear end gears. I just got the car a few months ago and I'm still learning about it.
Should I sell the torque converter and get a lower stall one? Or get a more aggressive cam to match the torque converter? I'm undecided. The car will mostly but use for street and see the strip on occasion.
