You can get a jegs stall its around 2100-2300 for 100.00 there B/M and work great..3000stall and cruise 2600-3000 with 26inch tire 3.23 rear end cruise is 2700 at 65 mph if you runing under 3000 rpms you are under stall trans heats up.id change the stall and get a 3.90 rear end to change out for the strip it takes bout 1 hour if you leave the backing plates on the car..i run a 2.78 on the street and have a 3.73 72 nova rear for the strip.and .472lift 296dur 230@50 108 lobe center 3200-6200..
