The corners of my 400 hood (cowl side) are crushed, not real bad but...my body guy says it will probably be cheaper to replace the hood than to repair it. Any thoughts?
I doubt it....mine were crushed from shipping (standing on rear corners in shipping from Canada to Houston ,Tx.....was missing about 1 to 1.5 inch ea side! ...I welded in a piece of steel as structural base , them fiber glassed them 'to shape'...9 plus years ago...holding up just fine....not sure how much I spent...1 to 2 hour total?
