I agree too, but if/when on a longer trip it helps to be able to figure out how far you`ll go on almost a tank....on highways I count 14 mpg...or 175-180 mi to look for a gas station (max 200)...when we travelled to Estes Park last year it helped to know as we were several in a group...as not everybody gets the same....
