The only vin/tags that are accessible are those inside the door frame on the 67 Firebird, upper dash inside the windshield drivers side 68-69, cowl tag on firewall on all 3 years. The other stampings will require the heater box and cowl panel to be removed.

Mine's on the top of the cowl just right of center. Have to remove the wiper arms and panel to access.
