Because of this great forum, I usually have found answers in past posts, but I've searched several times to no avail.
The problem is after a cold start up, gas will start to gush out of the carb and "flood" all over. If I wait 5 mins the car starts up and will run for another 10 mins and puke gas out again.
Each successive time it will go a little longer before it starts to puke. Eventually it stops the regurgitation and runs fine at about the time it is fully warmed up. This just started happening about two weeks ago. the whole summer was no issue.
Car- bone stock 326 with original Rochester 2-jet. Carb was rebuilt with a carb shop rebuild kit about 5 years ago buy a competent old school local mechanic. This kit supposedly had new gaskets that are new fuel safe. and new floats were install and adjusted.
Other then the gas puking on cold start up, the car runs great after it is at operating temp.
