Given the choice, the original intake and a qjet would be great. I have the original intake but requires some TLC. I also have a qjet that needs TLC (but I don't believe it's the original that came with the car...actually I think it's from a 67 and a 600 cfm).
Either way, I need something I can get on the car now. The AVS is more tune-able, but I'll be honest here - I don't care, because I'm new to carbs and have enough learning already. I'm more concerned with get something that's more efficient than powerful, but not something that will bog down the car.
