The 'Maro holes are higher and further apart, so no they won't work. Yes, you can still drill the holes, the metal will just be too thick for the acorn nuts. You may be able to use shorter nuts or glue them on like I mentioned earlier. Gus, I think he just means he has a 400 engine in his car, not a 400 lid.
