Sorry I did not get you a lot of reasons why. My opinion is based on what I have read here on the forum the last two years. Also, my first bird did not have a stock carb and I was constantly tuning the engine as a result. I was lucky enough to get a 400 HO Quadrajet from Doug this year and I can't wait to try it. Gotta put my rear end on 1st!
Doug swears I will get 50 mpg and loonies rolling out the tail pipe with that carb! lol
