I tried getting my gauge console out... Read the forums, saw that I should remove the screws at the bottom of the dash (steering column support)...
Was able to pull the column down just a couple of inches, but this wasn't enough to completely remove the gauge console.
Is there something more I should be able to do?
I was able to pull the console a little bit forward, as well as tilt it. Was able to (painfully and tediously) remove the speedo cable. Still had slack in the wire harness but hadn't removed it yet.
Thanks!
