Installed the sending unit the other night and installed the tank with an AMES dampening kit (didn't take pics of the two sendres side by side which would have been helpful (they looked identical with the exception of the shorter return SST line to the sender); only so much daylight with the storage space.
Tonight I poured 6 gal of 91 octane, non-ethanol and it read 1/3 full; added another 6 gal of the same and 2/3 full. I have 5 more gal of the good stuff that I will pour tomorrow and see where it ends up.
Did add some lead substitute, stable, and some Seafoam but should not effect the readings too much. The 68 started right up and ran great after three weeks of gasket and misc repairs to the tank. Hiting the road this weekend for a little shakedown cruise. I should add that this vehicle has seen <1,200 miles since 1996/1997.
