Mark, I would suggest you join the Cruisin Tigers GTO club. It's a Chicago based club with many Firebird owners, or more so that the name appears. Many guys own GTO's AND Firebirds.

Anyway, I am a member and also there is the National POCI event this year in St. Charles and the Pheasant Run resort. It is being put on with the Cruisin Tigers group and is 5 days worth of fun. You should go to the POCI club website and download the brochure. POCI is the Pontiac Oakland Club International, if you didn't already know that.

I have a 69 vert, but its on a rotisserie and I have a long restoration in progress. There are a few of us in the Chicago area as well.
