Guys, lol Yep this one is a POntiac Engine, I will double check the code, too many projects ugh On the good side it was on a Firebird 68 and was going to find its way into my 68 vert.
I have been really debating the direction of the build, do not get me wrong a Pontiac Engine would be great. The vert originally had a long gone 6 DOHC, and it already had been molested with a 307 Chevy (to add insult to the injury that was the dog of dogs - hope not to insult any dogs reading this out there . It is a tough call, but the LS swap on the vert is the direction I am planning now (subject to change as stars and plannets realign). I am thinking all in all, fuel inject a 400, change tranny with one that has overdrive, upgrade brakes, etc, I would have spent a lot more to be at a comparable level and either performance, street manners or fuel economy (what is that again?) would be at an ok level.
Please be gentle, I will be keeping my 67 400 with the original 400 in it
