Hey all, I recently (last week) replaced my dash pad on my 67 with Rally Gauges, and part of the installation was removing the gauge pod assembly. It all came out fine, and while it was out I decided to take the time to disassemble the assembly and clean everything good. I did not mess with the printed circuity on the back, but I did take the clear lens out, and removed the gauges and replaced all the light bulbs while I was in there. Well now that the new dash is on, and everything is back together, my Fuel gauge no longer registers (it goes straight to the full side and buries the needle) and when I put on the park lights only, the right turn indicator on the gauge illuminates. Is this a bad ground? I noticed a small gauge rod running from the back of the assembly, to the high beam indicator, and finally to a mounting screw location where it bolts to the metal dash part. Is this the ground? Anyone else ever have this issue? I have played with the electrical connector at the back of the pod, and it is nice and tight, and all other lights and indicators work as they should. I am not sure if the other gauges are working or not as I run an external oil pressure and water temp gauge, but the fuel gauge has never had any issues until now. Any help is greatly appreciated, and I can take some photos of the ground rod if anyone is confused as to what I am talking about. Thanks!!!
