I was putting my 67 vert together hopefully for the last time, LOL, and I put the rubber seal on the cowl panel and closed the hood and it now holds the hood up by the thickness of the seal. It is an aftermarket CI seal. I have everything in place and all the panels line up, doors, fender, quarters, hood, etc. It looks like the round center section of the seal is too hard and too thick to allow for the hood to compress it. I know or should I say I think there is no way that all the panels need to raise up to allow the hood to set higher so the seal fits. What could be the problem? Thanks EB
