I don't think that that site gives the Richmond/Doug Nash trans a fair review... I think for a racing application that the Richmond will be better due to the not as drastic gear changes. Also what the guys at 5speedtransmissions are not thinking of is the fact that most of us have a rear end with a 2.56 or so when we start out with our cars. Using a Richmond makes that 2.56 feel like a 3.70 or so rear gear. however with the TKO trans you would need to re gear to something like a 3.55 in order to get the car running optimally. I think no matter what way you go you will be happy with the results of switching to a 5 speed or even a 6 speed tranny.
