In addition to my loose wrist pin woes, I also have crank bearing clearance issues. According to my Plastigage, the majority of my clearances are in the .003" to .0035" range. The machine shop and an article I read said bearing manufacturers make bearings that are smaller than the standard undersize bearings to help dial in oil clearances. IOW, a bearing .001" undersize for a .030" undersize bearing would be .029".

I went to Clevite.com but didn't see any.

Anybody know if there are this type of bearing made for the Pontiac?
