Do you guys think a 67 frame can be converted to a 68 frame? I want it to look exactly the same and use my 68 control arms. Can I just cut off the extra mounts on the 67?
The 67 frame would not have the thicker steel buildup area on the tower area to match up for the bumpers on the 68 control arms.
But a welder could cut off the heavier steel area on a 68 or 69 and move it to the rear location of the tower. That can be done.
I'm finding 68 Frames up here but they want $600 for them. I will pull my 67 out of the car trailer and put it up against my 68 so I can see the differences.
