here is how I install the boot on my 69.

I tuck the "flap" in between the seat and the panel behind it. It stays in place when driving the car and does not flap around or come out.



I asked everywhere to confirm if this was the correct way to install it and never found the answer.

Also I did check and the gray plastic clips are much better to use. In the past the white ones did fail and break.
