Eventually you will. As soon as I saw the article I bought one off eBay (before this thread started).

I'll at least mock it up, but may not go on permanently for a while.

I've been thinking wing with a 3rd brake light for a while. Was wondering if a 3rd gen would fit and now at least I know it will without. May have to fab to get it flush with the trunk (wiring comes out the bottom). We'll see when it gets here.
