I have never seen that link before. But all the research I have done over the past six years indicate the diameters I show above.
I know stock exhaust splitters are for 1 7/8" pipe connections.
I also know anything larger than 1 7/8" pipes will not fit through the stock convertible cross brace under the car. (for a coupe, you don't need to worry about that)
Others, feel free to chime in, but I weathered the storm through my last three exhaust systems and this is what I found.
