Thanks for the info.

The casting number is 488296 and it's an 11 bolt.

I am guessing it's the original pump or at least they replaced it with the correct one?

All of this came to light after I finished removing and painting the PS and water pump pulleys and replacing the belts.

I did notice that when I removed the water pump pulley, I saw a "Ford" logo stamp cast into the pulley, but figured heck it's working so I am not gonna mess with it. I believe the PS pulley is correct as I remember seeing a 9786900 stamp.

I guess I'll eventually put the correct water pump pulley on. Is a 488296 pump a short or long nose and will that make a difference in regard to getting the correct pulley?
