On a '69 you will need a new ignition switch as well. The operation of the switch changes from push to pull (if that makes any sense). The old switch can be modified IIRC but requires taking the switch apart and changing the mounting bracket from one side of the switch to the other. Also, the Firebird and Camaro switches are not interchangeable.
Other than that pretty easy swap.
