But you would have to change the springs to a mult-leaf, and your shocks are not staggered like the '68 and up, so you'd need to retain the radius rod, or you'll get nasty wheel hop when you open that thing up ..... What gear ratio is in the Camaro diff? Are you after a lower gear, or just the posi, or both? A posi only helps to cut down on wheelspin, so if you're not having trouble at the moment, I wouldn't go to all the trouble of swapping. If you're after a different gear, you may still want to keep the Pontiac diff. It has a feature that Camaro owners sometimes buy kits to convert their Chevy diffs to, that of retaining the axles with a plate instead of C-clips. Call me and I'll fill you in!
