Was on the freeway today when all of a sudden I start getting this horrible loud screeching buzz coming from the dash. I got off the freeway and once at idle it stopped. Revving the engine at all will make it come back. If I lift up on the sterring wheel hard enough it will stop.

I have a feeling its that speedometer alarm needle causing it but I have it set at 130mph. IF it is, is there a way to disable that thing?

Any ideas? It is a very horrid sound.
