the cage the bearings was "welded" by friction to the spindle but we got that off with a lot of tapping here and there, it was also kinda dry in the drum itself, but it was an easy fix given the parts, and plus yeah we couldn't seat the races completely so i passed by wheel works and they did it for free.
and i installed them using the torque down method and it worked quite well, very straight forward. the only pain i had was getting the **** grease. you cannot get the black disk brake grease anymore, its either "yellow" drum brake grease, the new "red" hi-temp disk brake grease, or the valvoline "brown" grease.
