What strange new hell are the front bumper bolts. I'm redoing my bumper and have only been able to remove one without a saw. As soon as they are loose they back off and start climbing out of the square hole and just spin. Could anyone save my sanity and tell me how to get these things out? thanks Scott
LOL, LOL sorry but that was funny... Only because I can relate. I assume they are a little on the rusty side? Have you sprayed them with a good penetrate like PB Blaster? (God in a can) It is WAY different from a lubricant like WD-40. They are designed for different purposes. Once you get it broke loose, they will tend to "ride up " in the hole, so- assuming you are going to buy new- try to get a vice grip on either end and hold the bolt still- if you cannot, sometimes you can wedge a large flat blade screw driver in there up against the square under the domed head and that will hold it.
IMO -A big factor in helping is PB Blaster, I have seen it do pretty amazing things when you give it time to work into whatever you are trying to get loose. A true penetrate.
