no th350 in '68 350 firebirds - 400 only (check the 1968 service manual)
correct trans is the st300, not powerglide.
shifter was swapped from a 400 car with th400
Beginning to think this is the correct answer... Maybe I will just get the Th350 rebuilt that came with the car. May be the best way to move forward at this point.
