I would think it would decrease value even by keeping it a stock color, but it may make it easier to sell down the line. There's a reason they call it "resell" red. Ultimately, it is your choice as you are the owner of the vehicle. A lot depends on your goals with the vehicle, keep it forever, a hobby for a few years, looking to flip in the next year, etc. As far as colors go, I would take the burgundy every day of the week over say a Mayfair Maize.
