Thanks all. Here are some pics...if I uploaded them properly. https://www.flickr.com/photos/51414881@N06/sets/72157649226709026/ (you can see some graphic 'flare' on rear quarter panels. :-)
It is pretty, but I would LOVE a blue Firebird. Several nice blues in the 1968 paint code. Like the Aleutian Blue. Ahhhh. And a White top! So I would definitely keep an original color code and keep the white top. And it isn't for flipping... i guess I was asking because finding a 100% original car seems to me a bit sad to change anything. But color changes happen all the time and is 'easy' to turn back to original unlike finding the original engine after someone removed it and put in some Chevy engine! hah.
It is hard to tell if this is the factory color....looking at a poor scan of the paint codes. I need to call the owner to see what the commission plate says. Who knows, maybe it was originally a nice blue color, but it is advertised as 100% original. Now that I think about it....who knows if it is even for sale any more. I see OLD ads living out in the interwebs. Found TWO awesome vehicles that were selling for $26-$29K a few years ago. and one was a 400 numbers matching. wow. prices/demand must have shot up in a couple past years.
