There's a lot of racing on the schedule this weekend. There's a National event, called the Summernationals, at Englishtown, NJ. There are at least 4 Pontiacs on the entry list, in Stock Elim. And 3 of these are 1st gens.
One belongs to Adam Strang. It's one the few 4-speed Birds still in competition. Another is Todd Hoven, with one of the old Truman Fields '68's, painted up with the old "Hard Times" paint scheme. And there's Randi Lyn Shipp, with her '67.
Also entered is Scott Underhill, with the E/SA record holder, which is a '71 455HO T37.
There's also a Pontiac powered GT Super Stock car entered. It could be one of the Hatari cars, usually driven by SS champ Peter Biondo. But for this race, Sam Biondo is listed as the driver. The car is listed as a 2000 model with a 428 Pontiac engine for power.
