BUT, the news ain't all bad. Todd Hoven made all the way to the semi-final round, in his '68 Bird. And it took 5 round wins to get there.

And, Vic Santos took his #1 qualified 3rd gen Super Stock Bird, all the way to the final round, by winning 6 rounds. But, there he left just a hair too quick and tripped the red. But he needed a great light, since his opponent cut a perfect .000 light.
