I posted this on another thread, that if you have a 1969 re-pop dash pad, the metal frame is not present. So the plastic inserts wont work, they have nothing to grab onto. The fix is to place a strip of metal behind the pad and screw that to the pad. Then drill holes matching up to the instrument carrier and screw the dash carrier to the metal strip capturing the dash-pad between them . Bob
