Hi everyone. I have tried to find this in the forums. I have read a variety of articles out there discussing the 1969 Convertible Firebird equipped with the 350 H.O. engine.
Many are quoting that the production of convertibles equipped WITH this 350 H.O. engine option were only 112. This number is referred to from a variety of articles....speaking of different cars out there.
PHS says they do not have a breakdown of coupes vs. convertibles....only the well known production #.
2,670 XC coded 350 H.O. engines were produced and installed, 2455 WN 350 H.O. and just 2 YR 350 H.O.
That's 5,127 TOTAL 350 H.O. engines.
There were 74,673 coupes.....11,641 convertibles.
There are lots of other production # details out there though so I could see how someone may be able to ascertain the number from analyzing the overall production stats.........and I'm wondering if someone out there either has one of these cars (as I do) and knows how the 112 # was derived....or can point in the proper direction.
