Hey I recently put a '71 pontiac 350 in a '67 firebird. I also replaced the power glide with a mid 70s TH350.
As far as reconnecting the power steering pump, do I need a whole new pump that will fit a V8 or just a different bracket? The original pump to the I6 is in working order, and still connected.
Will headers designed to fit 67-69 models work on that engine? The current headers I have fit the engine, but do not fit around the motor mounts/brackets on the frame.
Anyone also have advice connecting the original shift linkage to the transmission? They sell a conversion rod but it really looks the same as the one already in the car.
