Im trying to figure out what the correct color and code the regular spare wheel should be on my 68 firebird. I have read that the space saver should be a grey color.I assume mine is a regular and not a space save because of sticker. when I bought the car it came with 5 steel wheels (not on the car) 4 black wheels code - HG GM65 1 grey wheel
one of the black wheels is being used as a spare. thats the way i got it 2 years ago. it looks like its been back there for many years because the wheel is in great condition.
should my regular spare be black ?
or is my grey wheel the spare ?
are the black wheels correct for that year ?
