My firebird is about done and I drove it around for a few years so its time to move on to the next project. Another firebird of course! I only get one garage bay and my bank account can only handle one at a time so I need to make some room.
I would love to know what folks think of my car and my asking price so please take a minute and reply to this thread or via email as you prefer. I am asking $33,500 which seems like a steal to me considering how much has gone into it but its tough to judge the market. I stuck a few photos in at the bottom of this post. I have many more if anyone is interested.
There are approximately 1,000 miles on this car since it's complete frame off restoration. It has all the original sheet metal including the original 350 hood and an after-market 400 hood. Both hoods are painted to match the custom black on blue paint job. All of the sheet metal is original to the car and was sand blasted to bare metal during restoration. This car has always been a Colorado car and does not have a single spot of rust anywhere. Under the hood is a full refreshed over bored and balanced Pontiac 400 coupled to a Munci 4-speed manual transmission. The car is also equipped with power disc brakes on the front and power drum on the back with new brake lines, master cylinder, and more. The undercarriage is in great shape with no rust and has new steering gear, gas tank, fuel lines, and fuel pump. The entire rear end has been completely replaced /restored with refurbished housing, new springs, shocks, ring and pinion with 3.56 gearing, and new posi-track. Even the drive shaft has been replaced on this car. The interior is black on black and mostly restored; bucket seats, floor shifter, clear gauges, front and rear seat belts, new alpine stereo system with amps and subwoofer in the trunk. I never got around to replacing the original dash pad which is cracked.
