The passenger door will not open. I can lift the door handle and it lifts up the lever on the lock. The push button on the outside works and pushes the lever. I'm thinking there may be a spring inside the lock that could have broken.

I have also inserted a screwdriver from the bottom to try to move something to release locking mechanism. Can someone tell me how I can open the door

Any help would be greatly appreciated
