I have owned my 67 400 4 spd vert for fifty years (2nd owner)... Over those years I have made some changes to suit my liking. Nothing I have done is irreversable and I have saved most of the original parts. Here are some of those mods: Aluminum intake manifold with Holley carb, HEI ignition, headers with dual exhaust and mufflers, Front drum brakes replaced w/ C5 Corvette front disk brakes w/ proper master cylinder, bias valve and power brake booster. C5 Corvette 17" wheels. The original engine was rebuilt w/ .030 pistons (406 cid) and a mild cam. This car is a numbers matching survivor with no rust or bondo and is in great shape. Interior is near perfict. I have saved most of the original parts. My question is, how much have I hurt the value of the car. If I leave it with the mods? I could return the car to all original condition with some dificulty finding the parts that did not get saved, ie, exhaust manifolds and cross flow muffler, quadrajet carb, and original wheels. How much would this improve the value? Shirl Dickey
