I'm surprised no one answered this post as I imagine a number of us have gone through a chassis a time or two. My opinion is to paint not powder coat. Parts were originally painted. Powder coat is pretty expensive to do and not original.You can always touch up the paint. Also different sheen levels were used on various black painted parts and I'd be sure they can be replicated if I went in that direction. Just my thoughts.
