I've seen that on a couple of sites. I just figured it was true( if it's on the internet it must be true right?). It wouldn't be unheard of. Years ago I pull an original sbc out of a Canadian built Pontiac. Now that I think about it I think it was a 67 at that. Anyway it seems that it's not the case with the OHC 6s. Seems they are Pontiac bred and built. Almost too bad. If it was a Chevy brand it would only cost 1/4 $$$ to put it together and parts would be easy to get. Too easy. Not a chance. No love for Pontiac owner/builders. Not in the stars for us.
