I'll bad mouth the ST-300 for you, it is not a good pairing behind the OHC. If my combo wasn't all number matching I would rip it out and put in a 4 speed.
Yes I agree...That's why I have my numbers matching Sprint & ST300 on the side & am about to install the worked 69 Sprint and worked TH350. If something happens to them, it happens, no worries I can always put all the 68 numbers correct back in. Or they are there for my son when I'm gone.
