We I build my engine we dished a cup out of the pistons to decrease the compression a little. The compression was suppose to have been lowered to 9.4. Normal driving does fine with my 16 heads. No issues. But if I romp down on the throttle in 2nd you here a little pinging. Never saw any issues with the plugs so there is no bad detonation.

I've tried some of the octane booster to try to eliminate that slight ping and it does not go away. We have some Sunco's here that sale 112 octane racing fuel. If I want to play with the throttle a little, I generally mix two gals of it to a tank and it does real nice.
