Hello everybody, I am refinishing the front seats in a 69. I bought an interior update kit from classic. Nothing is supplied with the kit to cover the back panels, which are removed to access the cover attachment locations. A quick trip to the fabric store, and now I am recovering the seats back cover piece.
My question is, is there a trim piece around the seat release lever. Currently there is just a slit in the vinyl. I am also not sure if I have the correct padding under the seat back vinyl. I removed the equivalent of automotive carpet. I thought it made the seat back loose and pillowy (new word) which I didn't care for. Anyone know if there was padding in there when stock?
