My son-in-law and I got started with our 389 Long block install yesterday...
Step 1. Order and eat Sausage & egg McBreatfast....done....burp Step 2. Install Oil pump...whoooopss...install screen first...dammm! Forgot to get engine builder to press the screen into the oil pump housing.
Has anyone installed the screen onto a oil pump? How did you press it on?
attached...old pump with screen installed, new not installed.
