This whole process of finding wires and such been going on for almost a month.
Yanked the seats, started on the pass side.
Early on, I hit the pass floor light and it flickered, bottom connection wasn't good in the socket.
Fixed it, reinstalled in shield. Thought life was good.
After my post, I started at the beginning(grin).
Low and behold, a click of the socket into the shield.

Got lucky(smile).....don t.
