So I am installing my driveshaft for the first time on my '67 and of course I have none of the original stuff. The rear end is original though.
Anyway, it appears I need special long u bolts to attach the rear u joint to the rear end. The machine shop that did my driveshaft said there was a couple years that the yoke was thicker and I need 2 1/8 in. long u bolts to fit properly. He said they aren't made anymore. The u joint caps are 1.125 dia. . Has anyone run across this? Otherwise I need to change the rear yoke. Paul
