I kind of agree with B. If somebody can get the car running cheap that would be great. You're always going to get more for a car that runs than one that doesn't. As far as numbers matching...it really is going to depend on the buyer. Some people care, some could give a rats [censored]. It would make a BIG difference if it were a very rare car but more of an interesting detail for a general production issue. It does make the sale more attractive to a potential buyer but I doubt it would turn into real cash. Might just make it an easier sale. I wouldn go spending a bunch of dough on it just to try and get your money back.
